At Iford Golf Centre, we are committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all members, guests, and visitors. As part of this commitment, all individuals on club premises are expected to conduct themselves with courtesy, professionalism, and integrity. Offensive, abusive, or inappropriate language or behaviour - whether verbal, written, or physical, it will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, shouting, discriminatory remarks, personal insults, intimidation, or any form of harassment. Such actions are considered a serious breach of club standards and values we hold.
Anyone using the facilities at Iford Golf Centre are regarded as representatives of the club and are expected to lead by example in upholding the values of sportsmanship, respect, and proper etiquette. Behaviour that brings the club into disrepute, including repeated or serious violations of conduct expectations, may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of membership.
Visitors are equally expected to respect the club’s rules and the enjoyment of others on the course. All guests must adhere to the same standards of conduct and follow the guidance of staff and greenkeepers. The club reserves the right to remove any individual whose behaviour disrupts the environment or compromises the safety and comfort of others, or is not adhering to the rules we have at Iford Golf Centre.
We also remind all players that public footpath crossings that are running through or adjacent to the golf course are open and accessible to the general public, including dog walkers. These individuals are not only permitted but welcomed to enjoy the natural surroundings. Any form of abuse, rudeness, or disrespect directed toward walkers or their pets is strictly unacceptable. We expect all players to exercise patience and understanding, recognising that shared spaces require shared respect.
We encourage anyone who witnesses or experiences inappropriate conduct to report it to a member of staff or management promptly. All reports will be treated seriously and handled confidentially. Together, we can maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere for everyone who enjoys our course. Thank you!
